The IM4216-2-DAC-01-US is a centralized management server providing access and control to 16 serially connected, and hundreds of network connected devices; all through a single management gateway.
The number of controlled serial devices can also be extended to many hundreds by appending additional IM/CM4000 servers to the management network.
Includes internal modem, console port and Ethernet port for out-of-band (OoB) access. Heartbeat monitor also provides OoB failover. Internal dual AC power supply. 1RU rack mount kit

IM4200 Advanced Console Server
The Opengear IM4200 is the most advanced console server platform available today. In one secure package, we have developed an out of band management solution for serial console ports, servers, virtual servers, service processors, UPS & PDU's, envioronmental monitoring and more. The IM4200 family of advanced console servers enables system administrators to securely access and control their data centers and networks from anywhere in the world. The IM4200 is equipped with a built in modem, dual ethernet, dual power (AC or DC), 2 gigs USB flash and runs on linux for scalability and reduced downtime.

The IM4200 offers advanced software features to go beyond the requirements of the most demanding applications. Pattern Match Alerting
Opengear console servers can help you ensure uptime by proactively scanning the serial stream on the console ports for specific errors or phrases. We monitor the traffic on the serial port and will watch for user defined patterns or phrases and send alerts via SMS text or email based on pattern match.
